4. Read Jeremiah 17:9. If this is true, what challenges does it pose to our sense of self? How does the cross offer us a solution?

3. Jesus said of Himself that he was the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). Which of those descriptors has meant the most in your own faith journey? Why or how?

4. We often talk about the validations for the resurrection (proofs it really happened) but what are some of the implications of the resurrection (if it is true, then what else is true)? See how many you can come up with.

3. The first words Jesus spoke to Paul were a question – “Why are you persecuting me?” How was Paul guilty of persecuting Jesus? What lessons can you draw from this when you face difficult times as a follower of Jesus?

4. In Acts 26:24-29 Luke records some back and forth conversation between Governor Festus, Paul and King Agrippa. Which of those interchanges interests you most and why?
